Introduction

If you ever want to send alittle something extra to Creators who are going above and beyond, you can send a tip inside your conversation with them. Only verified Creators can receive tips.

Texting a Tip

To tip to a Creator via text:

1. Tap the ⚡ action menu inside the chat convo

2. Tap the "Send Tip" option

3. Set the tip amount

4. Select which crypto you want to tip*

5. Review everything and when ready, tap "Send Tip"

6. The tip will be texted to the Creator, and they will instantly receive it in their wallet

You can also send Creators a tip directly from their profile using the "$" icon beside the follow and message icons (upper right section above the following/follower counts)

*You can currently only tip $USDC on supported networks. We are exploring adding more tipping currencies on the future.

What currencies can I tip in?

Currently, you can tip $USDC (crypto) on any supported network. We plan to add additional currencies soon.

Are tips refundable?

Calaxy does not officially support refunds on tips, but you can text and ask the Creator to text the tip back to you.

Are there any platform fees charged on tips?

Tips are subject to a 10% platform fee.

Is there a maximum tip size?

Nope! If you want to tip a Creator 1 million $USDC, that is your call.
