Introduction

Paid Chats is a "pay-per-message" chat mode that can be turned on by Creators. They set a price per message type that you need to pay in order to send the message to them. This is a way for Creators that get a lot of messages to ensure only their most loyal fans are able to get to their inbox.

Sending a Paid Message

Paid messages are sent the same way regular messages are, except they require a payment to send. The specific price is set by the Creator, per message type. Creators can independently price regular texts, links, videos, pictures, and audio messages.

To send a paid message:

1. Compose the message in the conversation with the Creator

2. Hit "Send" (airplane button)

3. A payment panel will pop up showing the price to send the message

4. Follow the payment prompts to approve the payment and send the message

5. The message will be delivered to the Creator and they will get a notification

How do I know if a Creator read my message?

Calaxy does not guarantee Creators will read all paid messages. The main idea behind paid messages is "making it to their inbox." What Calaxy guarantees is delivery to a far less cluttered message inbox than other social apps where anyone can message the Creator (eg. Instagram). This will dramatically increase the chances of the Creator reading (and potentially responding to) your message.

Can I cancel a paid message I've already sent and get a refund?

Calaxy does not offer the ability to cancel paid messages that have been sent, or refunds for this service. We encourage you to carefully review paid messages before you send them.

Are there any limits to how long paid messages can be?

Paid messages adhere to the same limits that apply to regular messages. For example, paid audio messages have a max length of 5min. This is the same limit as regular audio messages you would send your friends on Calaxy.
