Introduction

Navigating between WORLDS is super easy and fast thanks to the single Calaxy Account that is compatible everywhere you travel to. There are 3 primary ways to jump between WORLDs or discover and join new WORLDs. We'll discuss each below.

1. World Sidebar

The WORLD sidebar is accessed through the Home tab of any WORLD you are currently in (or the main Calaxy app). The sidebar lists all the WORLDS you own, are a member of, or have been invited to. You can also launch a new WORLD or explore other WORLDs directly from this sidebar.

Opening the World Sidebar:

1. From the home tab of the main Calaxy app, or any WORLD app you are in, tap the menu icon (top left)

2. This will open the World Sidebar

3. From this sidebar, you can quick-access other WORLDS you own or are a member of

4. You can also see any invites to other WORLDS by tapping the envelope icon at the top of the sidebar

World Options Menu:

The 3-dot options menu icons attached to each WORLD on the list will open the options menu for that WORLD. From this menu you can:

• Install the WORLD to your phone

• Share the WORLD with others

• Leave the WORLD

And if you are an owner:

• Access the WORLD admin panel

2. World Explorer

The WORLD Explorer is where you can browse and discover all the visible WORLDS on Calaxy (Hidden WORLDS are off the grid completely). This is like a mini app store of WORLDS owned by all kinds of Creators on the platform. At the top, you can filter WORLDS by access type (eg. open, subscription), and change the layout from grid view to single card list view. Each WORLD card will show its icon, name, access mode, and population. Tap on a WORLD card to go to its join screen to view more details.

You can also search for a specific WORLD using the "search" icon at the top right of the browser.

Joining A World

To join a new WORLD:

1. Tap on the WORLD in the WORLD browser

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to meet any entry requirements for the WORLD (eg. subscribing to a membership)

3. When ready, tap "Join World" to become a member

4. You will be dropped off on the home feed of that WORLD

5. Don't be shy! Say hello by dropping a quick post on the home feed, or joining any open group chats that are active in the WORLD's Messenger tab.

Installing a World:

1. From the WORLD's home tab, open the WORLD sidebar (top left menu icon)

2. Tap the 3-dot options menu beside the WORLD you want to install

3. Tap "Install" on the options menu

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the WORLD to your phone

5. When you first open the WORLD from the app icon on your phone, you will need to sign in.

3. World URLs

The 3rd way to join a WORLD is through its share link. WORLD URLs can be shared on social media, newsletters, and in text chats. There are all kinds of ways you may come across a WORLD URL, but when you click on it — you will always be brought to the install screen of that WORLD. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the WORLD to your phone, and then when you open the WORLD, you can either sign up or sign in (depending on whether or not you already have a Calaxy account).
