Introduction

There are several methods you can use to quickly and easy create a Calaxy account. These include phone, email, Google / Apple accounts, and Farcaster. Once your account is created, you will secure it by setting a PIN code and (optionally) biometrics for faster approvals while doing highly secure activities in Calaxy like transacting or recovering your wallet.

Sign Up With Phone or Email

To sign up using your phone or email address, do the following:

1. When you first open the main Calaxy App or any WORLD app, tap the "Create Account" button to create an account

2. Use the "Phone/Email" toggle to change modes

3. Enter your phone (or email address) and tap "Continue"

4. You will be sent a confirmation code to the email or phone number you entered on the previous screen

5. Enter the 6-digit confirmation code.

   1. If correct, you will automatically be brought to the next step

   2. If incorrect, you will see a red error indicating invalid entry (you can resend a new code every 59sec from the previous code)

6. You will then be prompted to create a 6-digit PIN code to secure your account. Enter a code and tap "Create PIN"

7. Lastly, you will be able to optionally enable FaceID or Biometric security features which will be used as the primary way to authorize highly secure activities in your account (like sending money or backing up your wallet). The PIN code is then used as a backup authorization method (if FaceID or Bio fails).

Sign Up With A Google Account

To sign up using a Google Account, do the following:

1. When you first open the main Calaxy App or any WORLD app, tap the "Sign Up With Google" button and follow the on screen prompts from Google.

2. Once you're back in the app, you will be prompted to create a 6-digit PIN code to secure your account. Enter a code and tap "Create PIN"

3. Lastly, you will be able to optionally enable FaceID or Biometric security features which will be used as the primary way to authorize highly secure activities in your account (like sending money or backing up your wallet). The PIN code is then used as a backup authorization method (if FaceID or Bio fails).

To sign up using an Apple Account, do the following:

3.
