Paid Polls

This article covers Paid Polls on the Calaxy Platform

Introduction

Paid Polls allow you to monetize decision making. When you publish a Paid Poll, your fans will be charged $1 per vote. You get paid instantly when the poll expires. This is a great tool for opening up key decisions about your life or work to your most loyal Superfans.

Getting Paid

Paid polls cost $1 per vote. You get paid instantly when the paid poll expires - an amount equaling the total votes cast. (eg. 75 votes cast, you get paid $75 minus any platform fees)

Paid Poll FAQs:

Can I delete or edit a Paid Poll after publishing?

You can delete or edit a Paid Poll as long as it has no votes. If the poll has at least 1 vote, it cannot be modified or deleted (because real money has been committed at this point). We encourage you to carefully review any Paid Polls before publishing to make sure you are happy with it to minimize the need to modify after publishing.

Can a change the price per vote?

No. All paid votes cost $1 per vote. (We may add this ability in future though).

Can a fan cancel their paid vote and get a refund?

No. Cast votes are not refundable.
