Getting paid in Calaxy is called a "payout." As you complete jobs, you unlock payouts that land instantly in your Calaxy wallet.

Here's the TL;DR on payouts:

• Each job type has specific instructions on how to complete the job, and unlock the payout

• The currency of each payout is the currency used to pay for the job

  • If the buyer spent US dollars, you get US dollars

  • If the buyer spent crypto (eg. $USDC), you get that same crypto

• Payouts land instantly in your wallet as soon as you complete jobs

• Payouts from subscription products (like Fan Club or World Memberships) land monthly on the day each fan started their subscription

• Payouts from Paid Polls land in your Calaxy Wallet in real time, as each paid poll is cast.

• Payouts from tips land instantly in your wallet, from the moment the tip is made by the fan

🏦 Withdrawing Payouts To Your Bank Account

Cash:

Cash payouts (US dollars) add to the US dollar balance in your wallet. You can withdraw your cash to a connected bank account by doing the following:

Withdrawing Cash To Your Bank Account

1. From your own profile, tap the Wallet button in the top right to open your wallet

2. From the wallet options menu (top right), select "Withdraw"

3. Set the US Dollar amount you want to withdraw

4. Select the bank account to withdraw to

   1. If you haven't added a bank account yet, tap the "+ Add Bank Account"

   2. Follow the on-screen prompts to connect your bank account

5. Agree to the terms disclaimer box

6. Tap "Complete Withdraw"

7. The withdraw will be processed and usually take less than 1 day

Crypto:

Crypto payouts (eg. $USDC, $SOL, $BTC) add to the crypto balances in your wallet. Calaxy doesn't directly support withdrawing crypto to bank accounts. We recommend using Coinbase for this. The process entails transferring crypto from your Calaxy Wallet to your Coinbase account, and withdrawing to your bank account from Coinbase. Here's what that process looks like:

Withdrawing Crypto To Your Bank Account Through Coinbase

1. Sign Up for a Coinbase account

2. Once in Coinbase, tap the "Receive Crypto" button

3. Select the exact crypto you want to receive from Calaxy (eg. $USDC on Base Network)

4. Copy the receiving address

5. Back in your Calaxy wallet, tap on the crypto you want to send (eg. $USDC on Base Network)

6. On the slide up panel for the selected crypto, tap "Send"

7. Enter the amount of crypto you want to send to Coinbase (to eventually withdraw to your bank account)

8. Paste in the wallet address you copied from Coinbase in the "To" field

   1. ⚠️ COMPARE THIS ADDRESS WITH THE ADDRESS PROVIDED IN COINBASE - MAKE SURE THEY EXACTLY MATCH OR YOUR FUNDS MAY BE LOST

9. If Coinbase requires a memo (eg. For Hedera Network), copy over the memo from Coinbase and paste it in the "Memo" field

10. Tap "Continue" and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the transfer

11. Most networks will settle the transaction in seconds, but it may take a few moments for the crypto to show in your Coinbase account

12. Once the crypto is in your Coinbase account, sell the crypto for your desired cash currency (eg. US Dollars) and withdraw to your bank account.
